Hill End has been awarded a licence to hold weddings and civil ceremonies in several of our buildings including the traditional rustic Stone Barn and the Roof Arbour. Our beautiful grounds are also the perfect place to hold spirital ceremonies or blessings.
The Hill End Centre is a special and unique 65 acre site located minutes from the famous city of Oxford. Hill End has historically worked to provide outdoor learning opportunities for the children and young people of Oxfordshire since the 1920’s. All profits from weddings and ceremonies go towards funding the educational programs offered for both children and adults.
The Barn is located at the heart of the centre and is surrounded by natural green beauty, dating back to the 18th century with original period features and with a blank canvas the barn offers the unique opportunity to create a personal touch to your special day or celebration. The barn accomodates 80 guests seated and up to 150 guests standing. The site offers full toilet facilities and is accessible for wheelchairs.
Included in the hire cost of the Barn is the use of a seperate building, the Cook House, an additional space equipped with a commercial kitchen.
Parties may enter the site the day before to set up and drop off between 3:30 pm – 6:30 pm.
Entrance to the site on the day of the celebration is available from 8:30 am. All celebrations must have ended by 11:30 pm and parties must have exited the site by 12:00 midnight.
