We have run successful corporate volunteering days for such organisations as EF Academy, Skanska, Amey, Carillion, Vodafone, Capita, The Rhodes Scholars Trust, Landmark Properties, Ridgeway Landrover and Aspire.
Hill End requires a lot of ground maintenance and care, the green 67 acre site has provided a beautiful and unique classroom for individuals to explore and learn since 1920, with a particular emphasis on creating opportunities for young vulnerable children.
We welcome visits from businesses and organisations who are seeking a team building day with a fresh and healthy green twist whilst helping to preserve and piece of history!
There is always lots of fun and practical activities to do, painting dormitories, cutting back vegetation, footpath maintenance, willow weaving and constructing pallet houses are all examples of the broad range of activities that are available to groups.
- Organisations may bring a small group of five or less and join in with our regular Friends of Hill End Volunteer Team on a Wednesday. This is a free ‘get to know you’ session to be involved with the maintenance and development of the site whilst learning about what we do from the volunteers.
- Organisations may bring bigger group 5-30 hiring a building and using one of our staff and some volunteers on a Wednesday to be involved with the maintenance and development of the site. Prices will range from £350 upwards depending on the building available, how many staff are needed and if additional materials are needed for the chosen task.
- Organisations may bring a big group of 30+ and hire a building or two, our staff to run practical activities or have a go archery or down hill go-cart sessions. These days can be added to with catering options.
All groups can arrive on site from 09:00am and depart at 16:00pm. To discuss options and how you can help please contact David.
