NOW FULLY BOOKED! Thanks to all who have booked a session – if we have any cancellations we will post them on Facebook and Twitter.
We are delighted to be able to offer new FREE outdoor learning sessions in summer 2020!
It’s been so disappointing not to be able to run our usual family open days this summer, but instead we are running a series of smaller free sessions for limited numbers.
Our family sessions are led by our expert tutors, and will include a variety of fun and inspiring nature activities and outdoor skills. These will vary depending on conditions but may include pond-dipping, insect hunts, nature walks and woodland shelter-building.
There are two sessions offered on each day available – either 10am-12pm or 2-4pm.
These sessions are limited to one booking per family in August.
Numbers and duration will be strictly limited in line with our Covid-19 secure risk assessment, and booking is essential. You will be asked some additional questions before attending for the health and safety of all our visitors.
Bring your own drinks and refreshments (sorry, no cafe available) and wear clothes suitable for the outdoors and the weather! All ages welcome.
We are very grateful to The Nineveh Trust and the Pye Charitable Settlement for their funding of outdoor learning at Hill End 2020-21. This will also benefit local schools, teachers, groups working with young people and adults with special needs, as well as families in our community.
