The Trustees of the Hill End Centre are pleased to announce they have appointed Lucy Crittenden as their new Centre Director.
Chair of Trustees Charlotte Christie said: “Lucy was selected from as very strong field of applicants with a wide range of experience and expertise, but we were confident that Lucy’s many strengths were the best match for leading the Centre into a positive and successful future”.
Lucy Crittenden said: “It’s a huge privilege to be the new Director. Hill End is a very special place that’s been here for children and adults for over 100 years. Outdoor Learning has never been more important and I’m determined that Hill End continues to offer this wonderful opportunity in future to everyone that needs it”.
For those who would like to come and enjoy Hill End and rekindle fond childhood memories, the Centre will be opening its doors to local people for more of their popular family days on 20 and 21 December 2022. The new Director and the Team are inviting their community to come and explore the beautiful surroundings, warm up by the campfire, and enjoy a nature-filled antidote to the commercial excesses of Christmas.
