WW1 Trenches Experience
Tuesday 20 September, 5.00pm – 7.00pm
Meet at Hill End, parking available.
An exciting opportunity to visit the historic practice trenches dug in Wytham Woods by Oxfordshire soldiers before they went to fight in the First World War. Led by Hill End tutor Kim Base, the evening also includes a BBQ.
This is an active evening requiring suitable footwear and clothing for the autumn. (A torch if it’s a darker evening). Access is a 10 minute walk up the hill and through the woods from Hill End.
The ticket price includes a hot dog or burger (vegetarian and vegan available) and a drink. Please order your BBQ choice when purchasing your ticket.
